One of the first two women to settle as a trainer in France and the only women to have won the mythic G1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe (on three occasions), Christiane Head-Maarek retires after 40 years and a stellar tally. She collected no less than 60 Groups 1 in France and several abroad, including 20 of the majors Groups 1 in the French programme as for instance the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches scored seven times. Her name is also connected to the legendary Bering, Anabaa and Trêve to mention only a few.
The trainer of Ecurie Bering's Syndicate saddles her last runner on February 1st at Chantilly .
