New ParisLongchamp racecourse in the spotlight

26 March 2018

After two years of major construction work and a new racecourse designed by famous French architect Dominique Perrault, the legendary jewel of French racing re-opens its doors in April 2018. It will kick off with a stellar season, including 34 days of racing, no less than 16 Group 1 contests and the best race in the world in October, the G1 Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. “For those who love racing, ParisLongchamp is a dream come true. For those who are discovering racing, it is a modern, elegant, trendy, new location. A place to go for a breath of fresh air, for walks, for a bite to eat or for music, to listen, discover and admire”, Edouard de Rothschild, President of France Galop. Under the impulse of Noctis Group, a key player in the French event, hospitality and diversity industry, ParisLongchamp will be a new trendy destination for Paris with a “Guinguette” (bucolic, rural and seasonal restaurant), a gourmet restaurant under the care of young chef Jean Imbert, after-works Jeuxdi by ParisLongchamp, concerts, music festivals (Solidays and Lollapalooza), Summer Stage and many other animations. ParisLongchamp’s inauguration on 29 April 2018 will be the stage of the first Group 1 contest raced in Europe and an exclusive set of French DJ star The Avener.
