Nutan, a second Classic winner for Duke of Marmalade

Nutan, a second Classic winner for Duke of Marmalade

05 July 2015

Son of the five-time Group 1 winner Duke of Marmalde, Nutan won the Deutsches Derby (Gr.1) this weekend in Hamburg. This 3 year old colt trained by Peter Schiergen and rode by Andrasch Starke offered to his sire a second Classic Group 1 victory this year, after the impressive success of Star of Seville in the Gr.1 Prix de Diane. Thanks to Nutan and Star of Seville, the stallion based in South Africa confirms the quality of his offsprings around the world. The Omnium Racing Club's colt Park has the same lines than Nutan, from Duke of Marmalde out of a Peintre Celebre's mare (Arc de Triomphe winner in 1997).
