Versaline joins Ecurie Bering!

08 February 2016

While the ARQANA February Mixed Sale was coming to an end, Christophe Ferland bought VERSALINE (lot 335) on behalf of the syndicate, a beautiful grey filly hailing from the family of multiple Group winners Vertigineux and Chopastair. The four-year-old filly by the Marquise de Mortalla-owned stallion Nombre Premier has a evenness tally, having won a race and being placed eight times out of thirteen starts. She showed a particularly convincing attitude on her last two outings when being moved up in distance and is credited by a low handicap value which makes her very competitive for this category of races.

As a twist of fate, VERSALINE was the last horse knocked down at the ARQANA February Sale, which was Olivier Delloye's last sale before leaving the company to become Director General of France Galop. ARQANA Racing Club was one of many projects he launched with a lot of success.
