Nicolas Clément

Already one victory in the world's most prestigious horse race, the Prix de l'Arc de triomphe.

Presentation :

Nicolas was well and truly bred for the job as his father Miguel was a renowned trainers in the sixties and seventies before dying tragically early. Having learned the ropes in the USA and then in Ireland working for the greatest trainers of that time, he then became assistant to the master François Boutin at a time when he trained the unforgettable Miesque. Nicolas took out his training licence in 1988 and just two years later bagged the ultimate prize when Saumarez won the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. Since then, Nicolas has had the joy of saddling numerous other Group winners such as Stormy River, Vespone and more recently Yellow and Green and Style Vendome. This enthralling and friendly profesionnal is the main trainer of Vendôme Racing Club and Omnium Racing Club, the two first syndicates launched under the ARQANA Racing Club banner.

Nicolas clément is settled at the heart of Chantilly training center. Featuring among the best training centres in the world, Chantilly is home to 3.000 athletes who train on 250 hectares of the highest quality training tracks, and the heart of an exceptionally beautiful forest. The best industry professionals are concentrated there and the winner of the Arc de Triomphe has been trained in Chantilly 6/10 times since 1956.

Yann Barberot

Winner at Group level as a jockey and already winner at Group 1 level as a trainer.

Located at the heart of Deauville, in one of the best training centre in France only a few miles from the sea.

Presentation :

After a career as a rider punctuated by 400 wins and a Group 2, Yann Barberot hang up his boots and set up as a trainer in Deauville in 2008. His conditionner tally was rapidly boasted with success highlighted by Family One, winner of Gr.2 Prix Robert Papin and second-placed in the Gr.1 Prix Morny, or more recently by Waikika, impressive winner of Gr.1 Premio Vittorio di Capua. Yann Barberot knows how to get the best out of his horses and was one of the former trainer of Vendôme Racing Club, first syndicate launched by ARQANA Racing Club.

Yann Barberot is based in the Deauville-La Touques training centre, at the heart of the internationally-known racetrack. Exceptionally located only a few miles from the sea, the centre has varied and high-quality tracks over 20 hectares used daily by around 300 horses. For the anecdote, some of the best athletes in the world exercise there daily, including Jean-Claude Rouget's charges La Cressonnière (favourite of the G1 Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe), Almanzor (stellar winner of Gs1 Irish Champion Stakes and Prix du Jockey Club) and Jemayel (G1 Prix Saint-Alary) in between their most important races.
