ARQANA Racing Club is a programme of syndicates that was launched in 2013 by ARQANA, leading thoroughbred sales agency in France. His ambition is to offer the best conditions to open the doors of the matchless emotions of racehorse ownership. Some of the best trainers in France, unrivalled quality of service and a genuine professionalism are some of the key ingredients which have quickly made this venture a success and propelled ARQANA Racing Club among the leaders of its market.
Leading auction house for thoroughbred racehorses in France and second player in Europe, ARQANA was created in 2006 as a result of the merger between the two agencies Agence Française de Vente du Pur-Sang and Goffs France. This merger was largely driven by a group of investors including His Highness Aga Khan, renowned thoroughbred owner breeder, and Artcurial, whose shareholders include the Groupe Dassault.

Chief Executive Officer
At the head of Goffs France where he was CEO for 10 years, Eric Hoyeau developed every market segment in France, particularly those which were still very underutilized and also diversified the agency’s activities by buying Trotting Promotion, one of two sales operations in the trotting market. Following the merger between Goffs France and Agence Française in 2006, he naturally took over the reins at ARQANA when it was created. It is under his drive that this ‘new’ agency has developed so strongly.
